Mote Farm Lamb

Here on Mote Farm we rear all of our own animals. They live on this beautiful farm for their entire life until it is time for them to go to the abattoir. We are extremely fortunate to have a small family run abattoir only 8 miles from our farm. This ensures the meat you are purchasing from us has less than 30 food miles. We are passionate about our livestock and ensuring high welfare standards are met at all times.

Mote Farm lamb boxes

We sell our lambs in half lamb boxes. These boxes must be pre ordered.

To order a lamb box please email us at motefarmsales@gmail.com

The box provides you with the variety of different cuts of meat from the whole carcass.

Our lambs are grass fed which means that they take longer to grow but they have a lovely flavour.

The contents of the box are:

  • 1 Shoulder (this can be halved or left whole)

  • 1 Leg (this can be halved or left whole)

  • 1 Loin (this can be left whole or cut into loin chops)

  • 1 Rack (this can be left whole or cut into rack chops)

  • 1 Rump (this can be left whole or cut into chump chops)

  • Stewing meat (this is neck fillet)

  • Mince â€‹

Lamb boxes must be pre ordered and will be available from October onwards. We will advertise available dates and the price of boxes nearer the time. Please get in contact if you are interested in lamb so we can let you know when boxes are available.

When you order you can choose how you would like your lamb cut.

Our lamb is cut by T Allman butchers in Edenbridge, Kent. The lamb is not vac packed, it is sealed in plastic bags but it can go straight into the freezer.

This is one of our lamb boxes where all the cuts of meat have been put into halves and chops. This is perfect for couples or people wishing to spilt the box with family or friends.

This is one of our lamb boxes which has been left as whole items. These larger cuts are good for bigger families or for slow cooking in a smoker.

We host events on the farm every year which are open to the public. Please see all the details below.
